Marking the Year of the Fire Horse.
The Year of the Horse is here, and for the fifth year in a row, Ami Paris approaches Chinese New Year as a point of continuity. Its 2026 capsule, “Wild Spark”, arrives as a restrained meditation on memory, freedom, and movement, envisioned by Alexandre Mattiussi with his signature emotional clarity.
Rather than leaning into symbolism at full volume, Ami keeps the narrative subtle. The horse appears through embroidery and patchwork, woven into cardigans, sweaters, and shirts. The collection feels instinctive and considered, aligning seamlessly with the house’s long-standing Parisian ease.
The capsule spans knitwear, shirts, and jersey pieces for both men and women. A nature-inspired palette moves through ochre, camel, burgundy, and evergreen, evoking wild landscapes and late-afternoon light. It is defined by warmth and lightness, both visually and in hand, with craft details such as hand-printed stitch-work lending said individuality to each piece.
House ambassador Zhou Yiran fronts the “Wild Spark” campaign, ahead of the collection’s worldwide release on February 17th.
