Moncler’s ‘Puffy Summer’ Is the Brand’s Most Joyful Flex Yet

By April 17, 2026FASHION NEWS

Summer Has a New Dress Code.

Moncler, the house that practically invented the puffer and has dominated Fall for decades, has been the go-to brand when the temperature drops and the stakes are high. But for 2026, the Italian giant is pulling off something far more interesting than another cold-weather drop: it’s taking everything that made it iconic while refusing to let the sun get in the way. “Puffy Summer” is the collection no one asked for but everybody needed, a full seasonal wardrobe that smuggles Moncler’s signature sculptural volume into lighter fabrics, brighter palettes, and the kind of effortless layering that makes you wonder why this didn’t exist sooner.

Fronting the campaign is Jamie Dornan, whose relaxed charisma and co-stars (a cast of inflatable sea creatures) naturally set the tone perfectly: bold, buoyant, and completely in on the joke.

The range itself is split across womenswear and menswear with equal conviction. Women’s pieces arrive in pastel pink, orange, forest green, and crisp neutrals, layered across gingham checks, tropical florals, and orchid-inspired quilting, while the men’s edit leans into scarlet red, sunny yellow, and rich burgundy through windbreakers, field jackets, bowling shirts, and light down gilets. The whole thing is anchored by whisper-weight nylons and relaxed cottons that carry Moncler’s signature structure without the weight. And because Moncler never does anything quietly, Puffy Summer is going global in a big way — a supersized octopus is currently taking over Milan’s 10 Corso Como from April 28th, with activations following in Seoul, Paris, Hong Kong, and Miami.

The collection is available now in selected Moncler stores and on moncler.com.
