Beyond Travel.
Rimowa just answered a question nobody thought to ask — where does a beautiful suitcase actually live when you’re not traveling?
Launching at Salone del Mobile 2026 in Milan, the brand has teamed up with Swiss furniture maker Lehni (a company that has been working with aluminum since 1922) for a limited-edition collection that is as much about how your luggage looks at home as it is about where it goes.
The result is two pieces: a bench and a cabinet with a drawer and two shelves, both crafted in anodized aluminum in black or silver finishes, designed to hold Rimowa suitcases without concealing them, framing them instead almost like objects on display. The bench holds two cabin-sized cases side by side; the drawer takes care of the smaller essentials. A felt mat lines each shelf to protect the cases from scratching.
This is also the first time Lehni has adapted its modular system to create a purpose-built storage solution for suitcases, which says a lot about how seriously both brands took the brief. The pieces will be available beyond Milan through selected global Rimowa stores.
