A contemporary take on royal portraiture.

Diesel has introduced its 2026 denim campaign, The Royal D, reimagining traditional royal portraiture through the brand’s irreverent lens.

Shot by Johnny Dufort and developed in collaboration with Glenn Martens and Christopher Simmonds, the campaign brings together a diverse cast described as a “denim dynasty”, using denim as a symbol of identity, individuality and self expression.

Blending references to classic portraiture with Diesel’s contemporary attitude, The Royal D places denim at the centre of a modern cultural narrative, highlighting its adaptability and lasting relevance across generations and styles.
