The Savile Row designer unveils a made-to-order bed with British bedmaker Savoir!
Ozwald Boateng is expanding further into interiors with the launch of the Authenticity Bed, a made-to-order design created in collaboration with British luxury bedmaker Savoir Beds.
Known for reshaping Savile Row tailoring through colour, craftsmanship and cultural references, Boateng now applies that same design language to furniture, translating bespoke fashion into a highly personalised sleep experience. The bed, which reportedly starts at over £76,000, takes more than 200 hours to produce at Savoir’s London factory. At the core of the design is Savoir’s signature No.2 mattress, handcrafted using wool, cotton and horsetail, while Boateng’s signature touch arrives through a layered mix of textures and materials. A curved oak frame sits beneath a woven leather headboard inspired by Ghanaian Kente cloth, paired with embossed leather detailing and deep green satin finishes sourced from Italian textile house Dedar.
The collaboration marks the newest endeavour in Boateng’s growing move into lifestyle and interiors, following recent furniture projects under his Boateng Living umbrella.

More than simply a designer bed, the piece reflects the same emphasis on individuality and craftsmanship that has defined Boateng’s tailoring career for decades.
The Ozwald Boateng Authenticity Bed will be showcased at Savoir’s Mayfair showroom from 16th May.
