BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE Introduces the MINIATURE Series

BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE has unveiled MINIATURE, a new bag series that reimagines the brand’s signature geometric designs through a playful lens. Drawing inspiration from the tiny handbags often carried by dolls, the collection explores scale and proportion while retaining the distinctive design language that has become synonymous with the label.

Designed to resemble a toy-like accessory, the MINIATURE series features oversized handles scaled to twice their usual size, creating a striking contrast against the compact silhouette. The brand’s iconic triangular panels have also been arranged to emphasise a more three-dimensional appearance, adding depth and character to the diminutive design.
