Gucci Returns to Monaco with Rose des Vents

By June 8, 2026FASHION NEWS

A Seasonal Takeover.

Celebrating its return to Monaco, Gucci turns the La Rose des Vents beach restaurant in Monte Carlo into its own summer playground. As seen in their Flora perfume line, the motif extends to deckchairs and sun umbrellas in an immersive environment of colour and texture.

Originally created at the request of Rodolfo Gucci for Princess Grace of Monaco, the print marks its 60th anniversary. The thirty-seven distinct colours on the blooms were first presented on a silk scarf that the princess wore on several outings in Monaco. This history tied Gucci to royalty and indelibly connected it to the principality.

To honour this connection, a special collection featuring ready-to-wear and accessories in the maison’s red hue will be available exclusively at the Monte Carlo boutique. To those that can’t make it there, pieces will be purchaseable via their website.

Seasonal collections will also be available in Gucci’s resort locations in Forte dei Marmi, Porto Cervo, Capri, Ibiza, Mykonos, Formentera, Saint-Tropez, and Cannes.
