Last night saw the return of Milan Fashion Week, and first up was Ralph Lauren, unveiling its Spring/Summer 2027 menswear collection in the courtyard of its Milan headquarters, building on the collegiate influences that have long defined the brand’s identity. Expanding upon themes introduced in previous seasons, the collection offered a more expressive interpretation of classic American dressing, blending Ivy League references with a contemporary sense of ease and individuality.

Drawing inspiration from collegiate traditions and the spirit of the gentleman athlete, the collection explored the values that have remained central to Ralph Lauren’s vision for decades. Tailoring, sportswear and casual essentials, reinforcing that timeless feel.

Yesterday’s presentation also highlighted a sense of movement and everyday practicality, with accessories playing a prominent role throughout. If it wasn’t flowers brightening up the room, it was Duffel bags, totes and other carryalls accompanying the looks, reflecting a lifestyle centred on travel, modern living and creativity.
