Willy Chavarria’s latest Paris Fashion Week reveal wasn’t announced by the designer himself, but by a small black teddy bear.
Ahead of the Spring/Summer 2027 show, UGG teased the collaboration through an Instagram reel following the bear’s journey across Paris. After ticking off the city’s landmarks, and making a mandatory croissant stop, the teddy arrived backstage at Willy Chavarria’s model lounge, where the first glimpse of the collaboration awaited. Despite the European heatwave, models and Chavarria himself were spotted wearing furry black calf-high boots, proving that some fashion statements outweigh the forecast.
The surprise runway debut marked the first collaboration between UGG and Willy Chavarria, with the unisex collection set to arrive this autumn. Bringing together UGG’s signature approach to comfort with Chavarria’s bold take on modern American style, the collection explores the contrast between biker-inspired toughness and the softness of UGG’s instantly recognisable silhouettes.
“We’ve designed this collection to be fierce and friendly,” Chavarria said. “The archival influence of leather culture wrapped in the warmth and intimacy that only UGG can provide. UGG and I remind you that you are untouchable and you are loved. This is my love letter to the outlaw in you.”
More than a footwear collaboration, the partnership reflects the shared values of both brands, placing identity, community and self-expression at the forefront while reimagining UGG’s heritage through Chavarria’s unmistakable creative lens.
