Loro Piana Returns to the Giraglia Regatta

Loro Piana is once again setting sail as the title sponsor of the Giraglia Regatta, reaffirming its longstanding relationship with the world of competitive sailing. Taking place from 12th to 20th June, the 2026 edition brings together some of the sport’s most accomplished crews for one of the Mediterranean’s most prestigious races.

Organised by the Yacht Club Italiano and the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez, the regatta begins with four days of coastal racing before its headline event, a 241-nautical-mile offshore course from Saint-Tropez to Genoa via the Giraglia rock off the coast of Corsica.

The partnership reflects a connection that runs deeper than sponsorship. Sailing has long been embedded within the Loro Piana family’s history, with Deputy Chairman Pier Luigi Loro Piana once again competing aboard My Song, continuing a tradition that has become closely tied to the house’s identity.

Throughout the week, the brand will host guests, boat owners and sailing enthusiasts at the Loro Piana Giraglia Lounge and Race Village overlooking the port of Saint-Tropez. Designed with furnishings from Loro Piana Interiors, the space serves as a meeting point for the sailing community while reflecting the understated elegance synonymous with the Italian maison.
