If you’ve spent any time looking for premium fashion in Tbilisi, you already know how it goes. These days the choice is quite large and interesting, but the brands are mostly scattered across the city. And prices are high. They often exceed what you’d pay in Western Europe. Things looked especially disheartening if you’re used to outlet pricing. The kind of outlet stores that have been standard around Milan, Paris, and London for decades, simply didn’t existed here.
Until recently, that is. At the end of 2025 premium outlet shopping in Tbilisi finally became a thing with the opening of Tbilisi Outlet Village — the first outlet destination of its kind in the Caucasus region.
The setup is straightforward. If you’ve visited London’s Bicester Village or Paris’s La Vallée, then you know the drill. Dozens of international and local brands under one open-air layout — Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Nike, Adidas, Lacoste, Guess, Furla, Levi’s, etc. Full storefronts and full ranges — just from seasons past. The prices sit at 30% to 70% below standard retail, and the discounts are available year-round.
That last point is what sets the village apart from the usual mall scene. Outlet pricing across much of Europe operates as a permanent model, and Tbilisi Outlet Village follows the same logic. You don’t have to time your visit around a sale week, like Black Friday for example. Which is part of what makes the format genuinely appealing to the visitors.
The architecture is part of the draw too. Designed by Spanish firm L35 alongside Georgian architect Dodoshka Chubinidze, the layout pulls its visual cues directly from Old Tbilisi — the brickwork, the lamps, the way it feels more like a small district than a series of corridors. It makes browsing for a few hours feel like a proper relaxing afternoon out rather than an errand you need to hurry through.
For international visitors, the timing is particularly good. Premium brands at outlet prices, in a country where the GEL exchange rate already works in most visitors’ favor. For locals, it largely removes the long-standing reason to do shopping when traveling abroad — the prices that used to require a weekend in Istanbul or Barcelona are now available just a short drive away.
A few practical details worth knowing before you visit. The village is open every day of the week, Monday through Sunday, from 11:00 to 20:00. The location sits along Kakheti Highway (E60), about 25 minutes drive away from central Tbilisi, with free on-site parking. There are chargers for electric vehicles available in the parking lot, so EV owners can top their car up while shopping. Driving is the easiest route by far, though taxis from the center are quick enough outside rush hour if you’d rather not deal with the road yourself.
One last bit of advice: take a few minutes to look through the brand list and current offers on the website before heading out. Stock rotates, discount rates shift around between brands week to week depending on the available stock, and a little bit of planning ahead could make the visit noticeably less stressful once you’re actually walking through the gates.
