PAUSE Highlights: Footballers Fronting Fashion Campaigns

Where football and fashion are a winning team.

Luxury fashion’s relationship with football has never been stronger. Once reserved for front-row appearances and post-match fits, today’s biggest players are now the faces of global campaigns, fronting everything from heritage British houses to Parisian powerhouses. Whether stepping onto the runway, starring in seasonal lookbooks or becoming long-term ambassadors, footballers are proving their influence extends far beyond the pitch. Below, we highlight some of our favourite fashion campaigns starring the beautiful game’s biggest names.

Jude Bellingham for Louis Vuitton

If there’s one footballer who makes the front row look effortless, it’s Jude Bellingham. The England star turned heads at Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Spring/Summer 2025 show in Paris, rubbing shoulders with Kim Kardashian, Lenny Kravitz and Lewis Hamilton before making things official as a Friend of the House. Welcoming Bellingham, Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams said: I’m excited to welcome Jude to the House. His charismatic personality and what he has already achieved on his inspiring journey will add so much to our LVers community.”

Fast forward to October 2025, and Bellingham stepped from the front row to centre stage, fronting Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Spring/Summer 2026 Pre-Collection campaign, alongside Callum Turner and some incredibly cute dogs, proving he’s just as comfortable in luxury fashion as he is on the football pitch.

Kylian Mbappé for Dior

Kylian Mbappé and Dior have been a winning combination since 2021. Appointed as a global ambassador for both the house’s menswear collections and the iconic Dior Sauvage fragrance, the French captain has become one of luxury fashion’s most recognisable sporting faces. The partnership entered a new era in 2025, with Mbappé fronting Dior’s Summer 2026 campaign, the debut menswear collection by Creative Director Jonathan Anderson, proving that whether on the pitch or in front of the camera, he’s always at the top of his game.

Eberechi Eze & Son Heung-min for Burberry

Few brands capture the spirit of football quite like Burberry. For its Autumn 2026 campaign, “A Good Sport, the British house celebrated match-day rituals, terrace style and the culture that surrounds the beautiful game. Fronted by football stars Eberechi Eze and Son Heung-min, the campaign blends Burberry’s heritage with the energy of modern football fandom, proving that the influence of the sport extends far beyond the final whistle.

Declan Rice for Aimé Leon Dore

Aimé Leon Dore crossed the pond in 2024 with “The World’s Borough”, a campaign paying homage to London and the city’s cultural identity. Bringing together music, fashion and football, the campaign starred Arsenal’s Declan Rice alongside Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand and musician Loyle Carner, celebrating London’s communities and unmistakable style.

Spanish National Football Team for LOEWE

In May, LOEWE became the official formalwear partner of Spain’s national football teams, marking the luxury house’s move into the world of international football. Under the creative direction of Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, LOEWE dressed the men’s and women’s squads off the pitch for tournaments around the world, outfitting stars including Rodri, Pedri, Nico Williams and Aitana Bonmatí in the process.
