BREAKING: Ib Kamara Exits Off-White

By August 31, 2026FASHION NEWS

After a 4-Year Run.

Just to start our week, Off-White is entering a new chapter as Ibrahim Kamara steps down as the brand’s Creative Director, bringing his four-year run with the label to an end. The stylist and image-maker joined Off-White in 2022, just four months after the passing of founder Virgil Abloh, taking on the difficult task of guiding one of streetwear’s most influential names through a period of major transition. During his tenure, Kamara worked to evolve the visual and creative language of the house while maintaining the cultural energy that had become central to Abloh’s legacy.

Kamara’s departure arrives at another significant moment for the brand, coming two years after LVMH sold its controlling stake in Off-White to brand management firm Bluestar Alliance for an undisclosed amount. The move marked a major shift in the label’s ownership structure, and now its creative direction is also up in the air. No successor has been announced, while Off-White is not currently scheduled to present a runway show this season, leaving the next phase of the brand’s identity and direction yet to be revealed.
