Elevating the Traditional Pearls.
The two brands have teased a second jewellery collection, this time moving away from the cooler white-gold direction of their first collaboration and going heavy with 22K yellow gold. The result is exactly what you would expect from Chrome Hearts entering MIKIMOTO territory: gothic hardware but make it “old money classic”. The collection includes a cross pendant necklace, bracelet, safety-pin brooch and two different drop earrings, with the Chrome Hearts cross becoming the obvious main character.
The 22K gold gives everything a warmer, almost antique feeling, while the diamonds and heavy silver-inspired detailing keep it firmly in Chrome Hearts territory. The standout has to be the 22K Gold Cross Pearl Necklace, which combines the floral cross hardware, pearls and pavé diamonds into something that feels completely excessive, in the best possible way. There is still no confirmed release date or pricing, and considering how limited the first collaboration was, we would not expect this one to suddenly become easy to get.
