SKYLRK has gone sensory.
Justin Bieber is expanding SKYLRK’s sneaker program with the Sensory Runner, a new silhouette that pushes his brand beyond slides, slippers, and 3D‑printed experiments into a more defined footwear offering. The model debuted in a black‑and‑white colourway through on‑foot images posted to Bieber’s Instagram, revealing a white base wrapped in thin black support lines that form a web across the upper.
The Sensory Runner arrives as part of a wider cultural moment where “sensory” experiences, from acupuncture to deprivation tanks, are shaping wellness and design. In footwear, Nike’s Mind Collection and recent patents hint at a future of sensory activation built directly into the sole. Bieber’s latest sneaker gestures toward that same space, though it’s still unclear whether the shoe incorporates any tactile or sensory elements in the footbed or midsole.
Visually, the model blends familiar cues: a stacked sole reminiscent of New Balance’s 9060 and a webbed upper that echoes Tyrese Maxey’s new signature silhouette. SKYLRK hasn’t announced a release date or retail price yet, leaving fans waiting for details on when the Sensory Runner will land.
