Reebok and 50 Cent Bring Back the G-Unit G6

By August 14, 2026FASHION NEWS

The early-2000s is making a comeback.

More than two decades after it first landed, the Reebok x G-Unit G6 is returning, bringing one of the most recognisable sneaker collaborations of the early 2000s back into focus.

Originally released in 2003 during 50 Cent’s rise to mainstream fame, the G6 quickly became part of the wider G-Unit uniform. Its basketball-inspired shape, bold colourway and connection to hip-hop placed it firmly within the era’s growing relationship between music, streetwear and sneakers.

Now, Reebok and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson are revisiting the original design, bringing back the red, white and blue colourway from the archives. The return also arrives at an interesting moment for Y2K-era footwear, as we’ve seen fashion brands continue to revisit silhouettes that helped define the relationship between celebrity, music and sneaker culture.
