The vinyl builds on Stone Island’s continued dialogue with the hardcore community, from Isaac Hale’s appearance in Community as a Form of Research to bespoke garments developed for the band’s live shows, including a custom double‑dyed vest worn on their recent stadium tour with Metallica.
Knocked Loose also feature in THE CALM AND THE CHAOS, Stone Island’s latest cultural research chapter, directed by Isaac Lamb and styled by Archie Maher.
Across Hive Mind and previous Stone Island Sound releases, from Navy Blue’s Sir Render to Mike, Surf Gang & Earl Sweatshirt’s Pompeii/Utility and Dave’s collector‑edition The Boy Who Played the Harp, the brand continues to treat vinyl as a piece of valuable physical media. Each project extends Stone Island’s dialogue with artists who challenge convention, forming a growing archive where music, identity and material experimentation meet. Pressed in a semi‑transparent milky green splatter finish, the vinyl nods to Stone Island’s legacy of colour experimentation. As with all Stone Island Sound releases, it stands as a physical artefact of an ongoing cultural dialogue.
