LV takes the wheel.
Louis Vuitton is taking its Art of Travel to the road. The fashion house has teamed up with California-based Singer Vehicle Design to create not one, but two bespoke Porsche 911s.
And surprisingly, the collab all started with a clock. Singer initially approached Louis Vuitton to create a mechanical dashboard timepiece inspired by the House’s Tambour watch. Somewhere along the way, that idea grew into two completely reimagined cars: the Classic and Classic Turbo cabriolet.
The Classic, the louder of the two, is finished in saffron, cobalt blue and yellow, with a custom roof rack designed to carry a Louis Vuitton trunk, skis or even a specially made surfboard. Inside, it gets the full LV treatment with leather, bespoke gauges and details inspired by the House’s travel heritage.
The Classic Turbo takes a more understated approach, finished in Calcaire Lutétien white with leather, precious wood and gold details inspired by classic motorboats.
Of course, Louis Vuitton didn’t stop at the cars. Both come with their own made-to-measure collections, including luggage and driving accessories, while the Classic even gets its own handcrafted Louis Vuitton surfboard and skis, because why not?
