An unfiltered version.
Mowalola is bringing her unapologetic design language to Jordan Brand for the first time, reworking one of the label’s most recognisable basketball silhouettes: the Air Jordan 14. Rather than simply adding her branding to the classic model, the London-based designer has pushed the 1998 silhouette into distinctly Mowalola territory, creating two versions that play with proportion, materials and the idea of what an Air Jordan can be.
The collaboration centres on a weathered brown leather Air Jordan 14, detailed with tartan accents and Mowalola’s handwritten-style branding across the side, alongside a completely reworked mule version of the sneaker. The latter strips away the traditional heel construction, turning the performance-inspired basketball shoe into an open-back slip-on with a metallic silver finish. The wider collection extends beyond footwear with oversized leather jackets, tartan tracksuits, vests and micro shorts, bringing Mowalola’s rebellious approach to Jordan’s wider apparel universe.
The collection launches through Mowalola on 19 September 2026, followed by a wider release through Nike and select retailers on 26 September.
