PUMA x J.L-A.L. Takes the CELL Geo Into New Territory

By September 9, 2026FASHION NEWS

Entering Its Architectural Era.

PUMA has always been a brand that can move between worlds, from the track and football pitch to streetwear and high fashion, and its latest link-up with London-based design studio J.L-A.L is another example of that range. Reuniting for a new take on the CELL Geo, the two bring performance and experimental design together, pushing the sneaker well beyond its traditional sportswear context. Known for its approach to engineered construction and functional design, J.L-A.L reworks the CELL Geo through a more architectural lens, covering its breathable mesh upper with a sculptural TPU cage inspired by Buckminster Fuller’s geodesic domes. The result is a laceless silhouette that feels part performance shoe, part futuristic design object, with its cloven heel and warped web-like construction giving the familiar PUMA model a completely new character.
That same versatility runs through the rest of the collection, with J.L-A.L extending its design language across apparel and accessories. A cropped black mesh jacket and matching trousers sit somewhere between tailoring and sportswear, while articulated long-sleeves and knitted pullovers are cut with movement in mind. Everything comes in a restrained monochromatic palette, keeping the focus on shape, construction and functionality. The accessories continue the architectural theme, with a warped bucket bag echoing the CELL Geo and a ribbed skull beanie completing the capsule. PUMA x J.L-A.L launches 12 September 2026 via PUMA.com, PUMA flagship stores and selected stockists.
