Denmark and England's unlikely alliance.
Danish designer Stine Goya has collaborated with British brand Umbro on a five piece collection featuring football shirts and tracksuit bottoms; taking us back to the what-should-have-been golden era of British football of Gascoigne, Becks and others.
With a splash of Danish influence, the collaboration engages how the Central Saint Martins alum broke away from traditional design and focuses her attention on Scandinavian palettes, something that is consistent in her work.
Stine Goya’s work in hand with Umbro is a highlighting of the World’s game through Danish eyes, uniting two European cultures together through the work of clothes, which is something anyone can engage with.
