The Givenchy by Sarah Burton Shark Pinch Boot is officially here. Reworking one of the house’s most recognisable boot silhouettes, the new design takes the original Shark shape and pushes it into a dramatic thigh-high form, with a sculptural construction that wraps around the leg. It’s sharp, sensual and very much made to be noticed, or at least that’s what the streets are saying.
The boot comes in six variations, designed to move between tailoring and eveningwear, with a double-shank construction that creates a fluid, elongated silhouette. But the detail that really sets this version apart is the new metal “Pinch” hardware, borrowed from Sarah Burton’s signature bag design and brought onto the boot. A pretty major statement for a new season, and definitely not your average thigh-high.
