Art Basel Paris Is Almost Here

Here’s what to expect from this year’s edition.

Paris has had an eventful year, but the festivities aren’t over yet. Art Basel Paris returns later this month, taking over the Grand Palais from 23 to 25 October, bringing galleries, artists, installations and a packed schedule beyond the fair itself.

For 2026, 211 galleries from 41 countries and territories are heading to the capital, showing everything from Modern and post-war works to contemporary art. The fair is split across Galeries, Emergence and Premise, with Emergence spotlighting emerging artists, while Premise focuses on historically focused presentations.

This year also welcomes plenty of newcomers, with 32 galleries making their Art Basel Paris debut, joining established names from across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. Whether you’re heading to Paris with a particular artist in mind or planning to discover someone new, there’ll be lots of talent to explore.

As always, Art Basel Paris will expand well beyond the Grand Palais. Its public programme will spread across nine locations, with works and installations popping up at the Petit Palais, Beaux-Arts de Paris and the Parvis des Droits-de-l’Homme. Tracey Emin, Cosima von Bonin and Kutluğ Ataman are a few of the artists taking part, while Miu Miu returns with a special project by French filmmaker Alice Diop at the Palais d’Iéna.

There’s also Oh La La!, returning on 23 and 24 October, where participating galleries switch up their displays for 48 hours and bring out works rarely seen during the rest of the fair. Sounds good to us!

Art Basel Paris runs from 23 to 25 October, with Preview Days on 21 and 22 October. Find out more information HERE
