Balenciaga and Automobili Lamborghini are linking up once again, following their first collab in May last year. The latest limited-edition capsule takes inspo from the Italian carmaker’s new Fenomeno hybrid supercar, bringing automotive design into a four-piece ready-to-wear collection.
The release sees the return of the duo’s moto jacket, as well as three new pieces. Naturally, the leather outerwear takes the wheel, featuring a structured silhouette and broken-in build. A grey cotton drill cap follows suit, with both designs sporting Lamborghini’s trademark shield emblem alongside Balenciaga branding inspired by the carmaker’s distinctive lettering.
The remaining offering takes a more informal approach, with an XL jersey T-shirt and a medium-fit hoodie made from dry molleton. Both feature graphics that take cues from the Fenomeno, alongside the words “…closer than it appears”, a reference to the warning commonly found on vehicle side mirrors.
