Piste perfection.
While the rumour mill continues to spin over Balenciaga’s next creative chapter, the house is already making tracks for winter. With Pierpaolo Piccioli reportedly exiting and Martine Rose rumoured to be stepping into his shoes, all eyes are on what could come next. First up, though, Balenciaga is ski-dropping its 2026 collection, featuring an offering that’s just as suited to the slopes as it is to the streets.
The ice-cool launch spans everything from thermoregulating down jackets, high-collar parkas and cropped puffers to snow pants, layered denim, knitwear and tracksuits. Engineered smart textiles offer warmth, wind protection and durability, while selected outerwear features RECCO reflectors to assist mountain rescue professionals in locating wearers during emergencies. Elsewhere, high-visibility faux fur, animal-inspired prints and reflective graphics add further interest to the cold-weather kit.
As for the accessories, there’s plenty to get your hands on, from reworked versions of the house’s signature Le City, Le 7 and Rodeo bags to mirrored ski masks and chunky winter footwear, including the oversized Alaska boots and flatform mules.
Rounding things out, the release arrives alongside a campaign by Adam Peter Johnson, which imagines snow falling inside distinctly Parisian interiors.
The Balenciaga Skiwear 2026 collection is available now at select stores worldwide and via the brand’s website.
