JUUN.J Plays With Proportion for Spring/Summer 2027

Tailoring, just not as you know it.

JUUN.J is switching things up next season, taking tailoring out of its comfort zone for SS27. Titled COSMOS, the new collection sees Creative Director Jung Wook-jun play with proportion, layering and contrast, taking the brand’s familiar tailoring and pushing it into more sculptural territory.

And there’s plenty happening. Sharp, structured shoulders meet elongated cuffs and plenty of layering, while denim appears warped and reworked. There’s colour, texture and print too, with proportions shifting between tightly shaped waists, oversized bottoms and cropped outerwear. The contrasts continue through fabric and finish. Pinstripes and crisp shirting sit alongside leather and lace, while softer florals and shimmering embellishment break up the collection’s darker feel. Even a full floral outerwear look gets JUUN.J’s exaggerated treatment with rounded shoulders and an oversized silhouette.

It all comes back to COSMOS, which takes its name from the idea of different and opposing elements layering together to create a singular order. Throughout, JUUN.J brings those contrasts together in pieces that feel deliberately at odds, but somehow still belong.
