Africa day.
As Black History Month keeps taking center stage for brands (and for PAUSE too), LABRUM has also unveiled a collection that celebrates independence and unity as a responsibility, not only for the community but also for the brand’s founder, Foday Dumbuya, whose roots in Freetown and life in London shape everything the label stands for.
Built around the philosophy “Inform the Unknown”, the “Africa Day” collection reflects the culture people carry with them in what they wear, the stories they tell and the communities they build. It spans tees, hoodies, tracksuits, and a bomber jacket, all in the Pan-African red, green and black as a sign of belonging and solidarity.
The collection also carries a line from Marcus Garvey, “With confidence you have won before you started”, a reminder that personal belief and collective progress move together. For Dumbuya, Africa Day doesn’t end on a single date, and neither do the struggles for freedom, justice, equity and sovereignty it stands beside.
The LABRUM “Africa Day” collection is now available on their official website.
