A merry little masterpiece.
Forget your usual Christmas flicks this season fam, ‘cos Prada is sketching out a festive story of its own. Titled “Drawing Prada”, the Italian fashion house’s new Holiday 2026 campaign takes a trip into the world of hand-drawn animation, bringing a cast of familiar faces into a series of whimsy storybook-inspired scenes.
Leading this festive little fantasy, the project brings its cast into a winter wonderland filled with magical landscapes and sprightly animal characters created by John Pomeroy, a well-known animator whose work has helped bring some of cinema’s biggest films to life over the past 50 years. Meanwhile, photographer Glen Luchford shoots the visuals, using similar lighting and angles to mix the real and illustrated worlds together.
Of course, the animals aren’t just there for decoration. The hand-drawn tale sees each furry friend get up to all sorts of mischief around the brand’s bags, shoes and leather accessories, with mice making off with Sadie Sink’s shoes and a snow lynx setting its sights on Chen Haoyu’s bag. Elsewhere, a fox follows Maya Hawke through the snow, while rabbits and bats join in on the fun around Luther Ford’s accessories.
