Many starstudded fits yesterday evening.
The 70th edition of the Ballon D’Or Ceremony was held on the 26th October in London, bringing out football’s finest players and some star celebrities, all to honour the inaugural winner, Stanley Matthews in his home country, as well as celebrating other players whose talents did not go unnoticed during the 2025/26 season.
Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane ended up at the Men’s Ballon D’Or winner, the first Englishman to do so in 25 years and the first Bayern Munich player in 45 years, whilst Spanish midfielder Alexia Putellas made women’s history by becoming the third player to win the Women’s Ballon D’Or for a third time.
Whilst there were many more highlights of the night, including a live iteration of Blue Lights by Jorja Smith, one thing certainly caught many people’s eyes; the outfits on some of the footballers who attended last night’s event.
