ASICS SportStyle has teamed up with HSDT to introduce the GEL-NYC 2.0 SSHS, the latest release in the brand’s Signature Series.
Rooted in ASICS’ rich design archive, the new silhouette channels the pace, texture and visual language of the city that never sleeps – New York.
Building on the original GEL-NYC, the updated drop features sharper proportions, enhanced comfort and subtle design cues drawn from the city’s everyday architecture. The campaign, shot across New York, features real New Yorkers icons Nas and Raekwon of Wu-Tang Clan. Each colorway draws from the environments and stories behind their landmark debut albums, echoing the relationship between place, movement, and culture. From studios and record shops to neighbourhood streets and late-night gatherings, the wider cast includes Throwing Fits, A$AP Twelvyy, Lichen, Malcolm Ransome and Shane Davis of Public Records.
