Reintroducing the Veneta for Summer 2026.
Bottega Veneta has unveiled the new Veneta bag, a refined reimagining of one of the house’s most recognisable designs. Originally conceived in the 1970s by co-founder Renzo Zengiaro as a soft, body-contouring sack bag, the style challenged the era’s structured silhouettes. Reintroduced in 2002 as Veneta, it went on to become a namesake icon.
For Summer 2026, Creative Director Louise Trotter revisits the design in four sizes, including a new Baby Veneta, and introduces a padded Intrecciato weave crafted from nappa leather strips. The result is a more dimensional, cushioned texture that enhances the house’s signature tactility.
Lined in soft lambskin and finished with a zip closure and internal pocket, the bag stays true to Bottega Veneta’s understated ethos. Veneta is available in 11 colourways, including Blue Venezia, Lava Red, Espresso and Nocciola.
