The rumours have been confirmed.
Following on from Stefano Gabbana’s resignation last week, Dolce & Gabbana announced the appointment of Stefano Cantino as the brand’s Co-Chief Executive Officer. He will work alongside Chief Executive Officer and chairman, Alfonso Dolce.
Cantino has held managerial positions at Louis Vuitton, Prada, and Gucci. He served as Gucci’s deputy Chief Executive Officer in 2024 before becoming Chief Executive Officer for nine months.
“I am pleased to have Stefano Cantino by my side in this new phase of growth and development of Dolce & Gabbana”, said Dolce. Cantino replied that “It is an honor for me to join Dolce & Gabbana, a brand that represents Italian excellence around the world in such an extraordinary way.”
Will his appointment be the turnaround that Dolce & Gabbana needs? We are yet to find out.
