Saint Laurent Just Opened a Café on Avenue Montaigne

Another One to Add to Your List

Saint Laurent keeps pushing its retail experiences further, and now it’s opening a new coffee spot inside its boutique on Avenue Montaigne. It’s the latest move from a house that’s clearly not satisfied with just selling clothes anymore. Remember when it turned the basement of its Rive Droite store into Sushi Park, a full omakase restaurant helmed by an LA cult-favourite chef? This café feels like the same instinct, just with lower stakes and a lot more caffeine.

Avenue Montaigne wasn’t exactly missing anything, to be fair. It’s already stacked with flagship after flagship, the kind of street where a quick shopping trip somehow turns into a full day of walking between marble-floored boutiques. But now there’s a proper reason to slow down between stops. The space leans into that same clean, minimal aesthetic the house is known for, just a quiet extension of the boutique that happens to pour really good coffee.

Flagships aren’t just stores anymore, they’re turning into full lifestyle destinations, with restaurants, bookshops, and now cafés popping up inside brand doors everywhere. Saint Laurent leaning into that isn’t surprising, but it does raise the bar for what a “quick stop” between appointments can look like.

If you’re in Paris this summer and find yourself anywhere near Montaigne, this feels like a non-negotiable spot.
