Louis Vuitton’s Trophy Trunk Returns For The FIFA World Cup 2026 Final

Where football meets fashion.

During the final of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ this Sunday, Louis Vuitton will present the bespoke Trophy Trunk to transport and showcase the World Cup trophy. In keeping with protocol since 2010, an unnamed Louis Vuitton ambassador and FIFA legend will carry the trophy together.

Created in the workshops in Asnières-sur-Seine, the new Trophy Trunk is covered with the monogram canvas, and its exterior is finished with the leather ‘lozine’ trim. Gold-plated brass corner protectors, a lock, and clasps signal the heritage of the 1860s trunks. A golden V, standing for Victory and Vuitton, adorns the two front panels, while a patch marking Louis Vuitton and FIFA’s ongoing partnership features on the lid. Louis Vuitton has accompanied the trophy for four consecutive World Cups, from the final in South Africa in 2010 to Qatar in 2022.

Pietro Beccari, CEO & Chairman of Louis Vuitton, says: “For over a decade, Louis Vuitton and FIFA have shared an unwavering commitment to excellence, bound by a shared belief in sport’s power to inspire and bring people together. We are thrilled to continue this partnership for the FIFA World Cup™ 2026. At its heart stands the world’s most coveted trophy — a symbol of dedication, collective ambition, and the ultimate celebration of victory. For this new edition, the Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk continues this legacy, accompanying the iconic moment when football’s greatest achievement is celebrated and history is made.”

To celebrate the occasion, Louis Vuitton will create a limited-edition collection of trunks available for purchase. Inspired by the World Cup Trophy Trunk itself, the three trunks feature the monogram canvas alongside a hand-painted FIFA World Cup Trophy and golden ‘V’. The collection includes the Coffret 8 Montres and Cotteville 16 Montres, both designed for watch storage, and the Malle Courrier Lozine 110 hardcase trunk.
