Converse Gives the SHAI 001 A Snakeskin Twist

Converse is expanding Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s signature footwear line with the release of the SHAI 001 PREMIUM: Slither, introducing a striking snakeskin-inspired finish to the performance silhouette.

The limited-edition release wraps the silhouette in premium synthetic leather embossed with a snake-print texture, giving the basketball shoe a bold new identity while staying true to its court-ready construction. Inspired by the movement and adaptability of snakeskin, the design brings a fresh visual language to one of Converse Basketball’s newest signatures.
