A new initiative to champion fashion across Britain.

The British Fashion Council has unveiled “Fashion Britain”, a landmark nationwide initiative designed to expand the reach of British fashion beyond the capital and create new opportunities for creativity, collaboration and growth across the UK.

Forming a key part of the BFC’s Strategy 2030: Access, Creativity and Growth, the programme seeks to decentralise the industry by increasing investment and cultural participation across every nation and region. Rather than focusing solely on London, Fashion Britain recognises that the country’s creative talent exists nationwide and aims to strengthen the ecosystems that support it.

The initiative will bring together designers, retailers, cultural institutions, educators, businesses and local communities to create new pathways for collaboration. By connecting fashion with culture, commerce and education, the programme hopes to unlock opportunities for emerging designers, support regional creative economies and inspire the next generation of talent.

With Fashion Britain, the British Fashion Council is signalling a broader vision for the industry’s future, one that places regional creativity at the centre of British fashion’s continued evolution.
