Mugler has unveiled the second chapter of “The Wardrobe of Identities”, continuing Miguel Castro Freitas’ exploration of fashion as a vehicle for transformation, empowerment and self-expression.
Photographed by Rafael Pavarotti, with styling by Robbie Spencer, the Pre-Fall 2026 campaign stars Saskia de Brauw in a visual narrative that unfolds through a series of intimate yet powerful moments. Set against the familiarity of everyday life, the campaign blurs the boundaries between reality and emotion, using clothing to reflect shifting states of identity.
Rather than presenting garments as static objects, each silhouette represents a different expression of self, from quiet confidence to resilience and strength. Throughout the story, fashion becomes a language of transformation, with every look revealing a new perspective on the wearer.
Continuing the creative direction established under Castro Freitas, “The Wardrobe of Identities” positions Mugler’s Pre-Fall 2026 collection as more than a wardrobe, offering a study of identity in constant motion through bold tailoring, sculptural silhouettes and cinematic storytelling.
