Yes, yesterday’s Sabrina Carpenter and Jonathan Anderson video on Instagram was a small spoiler… and now we know what it was all about. Dior and A24 have announced a two-year creative partnership spanning film, theatre and live events, with New York’s historic Cherry Lane Theatre at the centre of the collaboration. Dior will become the theatre’s premier partner, while the wider programme will bring together artists and makers from across fashion, film, theatre and the wider creative world. The partnership feels like a pretty natural meeting of minds, bringing together Dior’s fashion and cultural legacy with A24’s very distinct approach to storytelling.
The collaboration launches at Cherry Lane with Both Ends, a one-off performance by Justin Vivian Bond inspired by poet and playwright Edna St. Vincent Millay, one of the theatre’s founders. Directed and produced by Zack Winokur, the performance will feature costumes designed by Jonathan Anderson, including an archival Paul Poiret piece — a designer Millay herself wore and whose work also inspired Anderson’s Dior Winter 2026 collection. Beyond the opening event, Dior and A24 will develop a programme supporting both established and emerging creatives, while creating opportunities for students to engage with the creative and practical sides of film and theatre. Rather than simply putting a Dior name on a theatre, the partnership looks to create an ongoing space for collaboration, performance and new ideas.
