Other wise assuming someone puts in close to no effort into thinking through their outfit of the day, rather than to try experiment something wildly different with it. Simplicity has recently demonstrated new ways of bridging the gap between the ordinary and the extraordinary and has since showcased on the canvas of our streets.

The London 2012 influence – considering we had a sports packed summer has only now lead everyone to have sportswear plastered on their brains. See how bomber and varsity jackets, nylon parkas and smart jogging bottoms have emerged into our spring wardrobes? We know we sure can.
Christopher Shannon, inspired by the London Olympics, was carving a healthy niche in luxe sportswear and it shows in his spring summer ’13 collection. Simplistic American vibes achieved through classic college sweatshirts and smart jogging bottoms has got many high street stores creating their own versions to it.
Since sportswear has become so big this season, for a more high fashion look team with some classic grey New Balance sneakers,(or some khaki TOMS as we transition into spring)a graphic print tee, denim gilet or jacket and a brightly coloured beanie.
Zara has got quite a few ‘velour trousers’ in just the basic colours, but is styled in such an effortless way. The seamed with a silver zip panelling on the one side and darting across sections. Another version by Zara is Harem styled with a large zip detailing in the front and is perfect with a white tee and leather backpack.
Other high street stores like Topman and H&M have also followed this sport luxe trend but have used brighter pop colours instead. Acid washed blues and stone vintage with a cuffed ankle at the ends. Native youth at ASOS also have an indigo pair if you’re you’d prefer a fresh underground brand.
One thing about these smart joggers is that they make men’s fashion so much more fun and playful again. Wear it where you want, how you want.
