Today, KTZ unveiled their much waited SS14 collection at this years London Collections: Men. Spectators were transported to sunny and sandy Arabia, through the collections distinctly Arabian feel. Dessert themed clothing was prevalent, with fabric covering models faces and mouths. The show also featured draped hoods, taking obvious inspiration from the Middle East. There was heavy usage of block colouring and the presence of many backless pieces.
Aside from definite nods to Arabia, the essence of a Moroccan market was channelled by the clever layout enabling the catwalk to weave in and out of the audience. Map prints lent to a worldly feel whilst black outfits/accessories had embossed metallic symbols. The entire range was oversized and draped/slung with comfortable fits. Jewellery was oversized and exaggerated, with a gun metal silver finish and the shoes were leather, gladiator-esque sandals. Finally, shorts had a basketball fit; loose and below the knee. All in all, a Arabian inspired delight.
