PAUSE Of The Week: Stampd Bodega Bag

Camapign4

Though still enjoying swimming pools and beach waves, it’s not long before we’ll be back to our layers in time for the chillier months. As much as the majority discourage the thought, we have to accept it will happen soon, so we at PAUSE figured we might as well make a small introduction to the end of year with men’s apparel label, Two Angle‘s AW13 collection as some style to look forward to.

First established in 1999, Two Angle is a fusion between French styling with fine attention to detail along with New York’s modern street style. It’s resulted in a high-end, fashion-forward brand heavily featuring music culture. The brand is building itself up to be a major factor in urban fashion, creating another point of view for men’s apparel.  It’s campaign imagery aims to appeal to as well as compliment the authentic British fashion to the UK market. In light of this, they have for the first time located their shoot  in none other than Thames Barrier Park, Newham East London with British model Billy Huxley.

The collection is a bundle of strong aesthetic urban pieces with fresh bomber jackets, graphic print tees and hooded parka jackets featuring their infamous camouflage print and dashes of textural leopard detail. Not to forget the available accessories, including beanies, snapbacks and gloves – the whole works!

Two Angle AW13 will be available to buy online on from asos.com as of this August.

Every so often an item of clothing will come along that will divide opinions. In the past, bumbags, skinny jeans, and super low cut V necks have been the subject of fierce debate whether they are fashionable or a joke.

Stampd’s Black Bodega bag will no doubt continue this trend. The bag takes inspiration from the American staple that is the brown paper bag. However, this rendition will not be discarded in a hurry as it is made of leather.

Available in small and medium sizes, and priced at a recession busting $140, this is an incredibly posh way to carry your essentials, or even toting around  your lunch, and even hide a cheeky bit of alcohol. Whether you think this is a must have item, or another example of fashion over function, you can’t deny that this bag, although simple, makes a statement.
