Nike releases “Possibilities” – ‘JUST DO IT’

By August 22, 2013Culture, Fashion News

Yesterday Nike released their new campaign, “Possibilities” and the message is strong and clear: It’s time we all push our limits and reach/run/jump towards new goals. Nike challenges us to #justdoit and we can all physically take part through a series of Nike+ challanges. Viewers can try their own “Possibilities” using different activations, such as Nike+ Running and NikeFuel challenges. Use the Nike+ Running app to set a distance goal, invite Nike+ friends to join and race to the virtual finish line. A new chat feature also allows you to share tips and check the live leaderboard to track progress and see your rank in the race.

“With ‘Possibilities’ we’re taking ‘Just Do It’ to a whole new place, showing people a new way to set goals and think about their own athletic potential, then helping them to achieve those goals through products, services and inspiration.” Davide Grasso, Nike Global Chief Marketing Officer

20th August – 13th September you got the opportunity to win a once-in-a-lifetime running experience, as part of Nike’s crowd-sourced Free Run concept. Nike wants us to get active, so in September there will be many more European challenges. Check out “Run The Distance” and it will challenge you to run a marathon in a week or the “NTC Early Bird” which will bring your morning routines to a new level.

The Nike+ digital ecosystem got more than 18 million members world-wide and anyone who takes part in it can share their activity through the hashtag #justdoit and inspire more people to realize new possibilities.
