It seems like everywhere we look this autumn music industry professionals are announcing their collaboration with fashion brands and vice versa. The newest announcement on the radar comes from Italian owned, luxury outwear brand, Moncler and the musician and producer who brought us “Get Lucky,” with Daft Punk: Pharrell Williams this year.
Pharrell will be a guest designer for Moncler’s newest Lunettes project – a new collection of sunglasses that are supposed to represent the bands historical significance dating back to 1952.
Not only will Pharrell be designing the technology, and vintage inspired men’s and women’s line of glasses; but you can also look forward to seeing him in the line’s advertisements. Pharrell’s involvement with Moncler doesn’t end there, with the Moncler team; he will also help produce a special edition range of down jackets and vests for this season.
Each frame will be built from one piece of titanium, don’t worry however they are promised to be quite light and have a minimalist, modern feel. As most of Moncler’s products are, the glasses will be made in Italy so you can expect them to be high quality.
