Saville Row’s Gieves and Hawkes presented their A/W ’14 collection at London Collections: Men this week.
The brand, who pride themselves on their No.1 Saville Row address, incorporated a lot of gentlemanly greys this season. Tones of grey were incorporated on suits, as well as on the speckled knitwear.
Small colourful specks were a theme throughout the collection. As well as on the knitwear, it can be seen in some of the suits and jackets.
Jason Basmajian, the Creative Director for Gieves & Hawkes stated about the collection: “This season our inspiration started with the Gieves and Hawkes archive and the relationship the house has between civilian and military dressing.”
This is definitely evident in the belted aviator jacket with fur collar, which was definitely a key piece in the collection. Other items that stood out to us here at PAUSE include a houndstooth print overcoat and a dramatic navy cape.
