Streetwear King Nasir Mazhar showed the world what differentiates him from other streetwear designers this season at London Collections: Men.
The London native presented his most grown up collection to date, complete with metallics, the heavy use of logos and satin boxer fighter shorts.
The collection was a lot more developed design-wise, although it still had the urban edge which we’re so familiar with. Mazhar incorporated his signature caps and combined sleek button up shirts with baggy sweatpants. The design also made sure his name was not forgotten this season, as almost every piece of clothing from the collection featured the logo NASIR MAZHAR printed on them, including tape wrapped around the models’ bodies.
What made the collection so successful however was the use of jeweled colours. Metallic pinks, blues, greens and reds dominated the catwalk and contrasted well against the black. Mazhar also used asymmetrical graphics and there was spectacular detailing; everything was well thought out and elaborate.
One of our favourite looks from the show is the black and metallic pink tracksuit, and here at PAUSE we also loved the boxer fighter shorts in a range of different metallic colours.
