Nike and Adidas Refusing to Supply Small Retailers

By January 5, 2014Fashion News
Small independent sneaker and sports retailers in London are about to get a massive set back from two of the biggest names in the sneaker world.

The Evening standard have reported that Nike and Adidas are gearing up to severe all ties with an unlucky few who cant manage to sell £25, 000 worth of sportswear in a years time frame. They’re also set to cut off all credit facilities. This is thought to possibly affect around 50 independent sellers in the capital.
An Adidas spokesperson was quoted as saying: ” This decision was not taken lightly but it is in line with our global commercial policy and was made to ensure our business is solid and sustainable, and operates in the most efficient way.”.
What’s your opinions on the current situation?
