To celebrate the day that started it all, Nike are due to release a limited edition of the Air Max 1 in a new colour way with tongue details on the date 3.26.14.
The iconic sneakers have come a long way since they were first invented in 1987; although the first Air-Sole unit prototype was created ten years previous. The silhouettes of each model have stayed true to their roots and have barely changed since first being released.
Nike have celebrated almost 30 years of the Air Max by keeping the classic original white and red upper but including a volt midsole, signature ‘Nike Air’ embroidery and 3.26 on the tongue.
The shoe is very much wearable but also a must have for any serious collectors. It’s an absolute guaranteed sell-out so we suggest get up bright and early if you want to stand a chance of catching these.
These drop on 26.3.14 and will be available from Nike.com and globally at select Nike retailers.
