Ermenegildo Zegna goes in between sartorial and masculine identities for SS16.
The collection is characterised by a wide range of fabrics, such as Double Century Cashmere, super fine Lanificio Zegna wools, silks, cottons and Japanese textiles.
The silhouettes are very unconvential: classic flowing trousers are paired either to oversized outerwear or tight fitted pieces, breasted jackets, or again with summer coats, multi pocketed gilets, bomber jackets and draped blousons, alongside shirts and overcoats.
An important feature of the collection are the eco sustainable materials, following the brand’s ‘Ecoleader’ campaign.
The colour scheme includes dark looks framed by white and total black, that marks the collection as a timeless aesthetic.
