MFW: Jil Sander Spring/Summer 2016 Collection

Jil Sander goes tech for it’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection.

Never failing to raise the bar, Jil Sander’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection diverts from the normative soft fabrics and presents us with geometric silhouettes that will spruce up your wardrobe. This stance is taken with technical fabrics materialised into shorts and outerwear, providing a polished appearance to kick-start the next year.

Trousers only extended to the mid-calf whilst suits were accompanied with shorts, displaying the brands intentions to keep us cool next summer. Other pieces made out of lightweight leather and crinkly nylon, such as outerwear were offered in muted palettes of smoky grey, pale olive and charcoal black. This is contrasted with elated Japanese-style flower patches on denim jackets and shirts and short-sleeved shirts that brighten the collection.
