Prints are at the heart of Neil Barrett’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection.
Decorating his Spring/Summer 2016 collection in camo, stripes, floral, polka dots and leopard markings, Neil Barrett kept the focal point on prints, unveiling a blue, black, grey and white line-up for the new season.
Continuing his signature minimalist aesthetic, the designer conjures up an “idea of global masculinity” with classic menswear staples including drop-crotch trousers and v-neck jumpers. The modest range of colours contrasted a more extensive selection of fabrics used, including Italian jacquard and indigo denim, which came in a selection of styles including low in the crotch but narrow on the hip, cuffed or with rolled-up hems. Neil Barrett experimented with non-denim too by adding relaxed, slouchy trousers to sophisticated silhouettes.
